Transportation Office

The Doña Ana County Transportation Office is responsible for the maintenance of more than 1,380 miles of existing county roads, as well as construction of new roads within the county's borders.

The department is subdivided into various other divisions, including the Engineering Deptartment, which handle all County surveying, road design, some building design, mapping, drainage design; the Operations Department, which handles construction of new roads, maintenance of unpaved and paved roads, bridge maintenance; Vehicle Maintenance for the entire County, Right of Way Department and Shop Parts Department. Subdivision reviews are conducted by the Compliance Coordinator.
