The Doña Ana County Community Development Department will host a Sept. 19 community meeting at 6 p.m. at the Rincon Community Center to present the final draft of the Rincon Master Plan. The public is encouraged to attend.

The meeting concludes the 30-day public review and comment period for the plan. Copies of the plan were available for review beginning Aug. 16 at the Rincon Water Consumers’ Cooperative, the Rincon Post Office and the Doña Ana County Government Center. The document also was available for review online at www.donaanacounty.org/development/master_planning.

The Sept. 19 gathering is the final community meeting scheduled to present the finalized plan. After the meeting, the plan will be presented to the Doña Ana County Planning and Zoning Authority and the Doña Ana County Board of Commissioners for approval.
