DRIPPING SPRINGS ROAD WILL EXPERIENCE LANE CLOSURES
Construction crews will begin work Monday, June 11, to erect traffic signals at the intersection of Sonoma Ranch Road and Dripping Springs Road. Traffic will be stopped for brief periods while the mast arms are installed. Work is expected to be completed by Friday, June 15.

DWI CHECKPOINTS SCHEDULED FOR JUNE
The Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Department has scheduled two sobriety checkpoints and saturation patrols during the month of June. These activities are part of an ongoing effort to reduce DWI-related crashes, injuries and deaths.

PUBLIC HEARING TO FOCUS ON ETZ CHANGES
The Doña Ana County/City of Las Cruces Extraterritorial Zoning Authority will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, to seek public comment on proposed changes to the Extra-Territorial Zoning Ordinance. The hearing will be held in the Commission Chambers of the Doña Ana County Government Center.

PUBLIC INPUT SOUGHT REGARDING SOUTHERN SPACEPORT ROAD
The Bureau of Land Management will host an open house public forum to field comments and suggestions as part of an Environmental Assessment (EA) to analyze the potential effects from construction and operation of a 26-mile southern road from Doña Ana County to the Spaceport America facility.
