COUNTY COMMISSION SCHEDULES SPECIAL MEETING ON JUNE 12 2009
NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE DOŅA ANA COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
The following will be considered at a Special Meeting of the Doņa Ana County Board of Commissioners to be held on Friday, June 12, 2009, at 3:30 p.m., in the Doņa Ana County Commission Chambers on the 1st Floor, Doņa Ana County Government Center, 845 North Motel Boulevard, Las Cruces, New Mexico:

| COMMISSION CONVENES AS THE COUNTY CANVASSING BOARD IN OPEN SESSION PURSUANT TO THE NEW MEXICO ELECTION CODE, NMSA 1978, §1-13-1 | ||

| 3. | The Board will take action, consistent with the Election Code, to ensure that the canvass of the returns of the Special Election of June 9, 2009, are completed so the Board can declare and certify the results, pursuant to §1-13-13, on or before June 19, 2009. The Board will delegate responsibility for the canvassing tasks as outlined in §1-13-4 et. seq. to the staff of the Bureau of Elections and will direct that the results be presented to the Board to certify at a Special Meeting to be held on Monday, June 15, 2009. | |
