7.1 7. Authorization for the Doņa Ana County Fire and Emergency Services and the Doņa Ana County Sheriff’s Office to Apply for Grants that will Assist in Emergency Response and Operations for Fiscal Year 2008-2009 – Paul Chavez, Fire Marshal, will discuss.
8.1- 8. Approve Budget Resolution and Budget Revision – Lurie Garcia, Interim Finance Director, will discuss.
9.1-9.3 9. Award of Competitive Sealed Bid No. 08-0056 for the Doņa Ana County Fairgrounds Septic System Improvements Project and Authorize Signature Authority to the County Manager for all Related Contracts, Addenda and Change Orders – Armando Cordero, Facilities and Parks Manager, will discuss.
10.1-10.11 10. Approve Transfer of Doņa Ana County Property to City of Las Cruces for Construction of a Bus Stop and Grant Temporary Construction Easement. Authorize County Manager to Sign Related Documents -- Armando Cordero, Facilities and Parks Manager, will discuss.

Award RFP No. 08-0053 to Parkhill, Smith & Cooper, Inc. for Architectural and Engineering Services for the Anthony Valley Community Library Project in Doņa Ana County and Request Signature Authority for the County Manager for Related Contracts, Task Orders and Change Orders – Armando Cordero, Facilities and Parks Manager, will discuss.

14.1-14.13 14. Consider Resolution Adopting a Revised Building Permit Fee Schedule for Doņa Ana County – Chuck McMahon, Community Development and Planning Director, will discuss.
ORDINANCE/PUBLIC HEARING
15.1-15.5 15. Authorize Publication of Notice of Intent to Consider Adoption of a Building Code Ordinance Incorporating the 2006 Edition of the International Codes, and the 2008 National Electrical Code, Corresponding 2006 New Mexico Commercial Building Code, 2006 New Mexico Residential Code, 2006 New Mexico Earthen Material Standards and the 2008 Doņa Ana County Non-Load Bearing Baled Straw Construction Standards -- Chuck McMahon, Community Development and Planning Director, will discuss.
16.1-16.103 16. Authorize Publication of Notice of Intent to Consider the Adoption of the Proposed Development Design Standards Ordinance -- Chuck McMahon, Community Development and Planning Director, will discuss.

17. Rita Torres, County Clerk, will present to the Commission any claims received by Doņa Ana County.

COMMISSION WILL CONVENE IN CLOSED SESSION to discuss pending litigation, Richards, et al. v. BOCC, CIV 07-1096; Bravo v. Doņa Ana County, CV 2007-2539; threatened or pending litigation; and the purchase or acquisition of real property as authorized by the Open Meetings Act, § 10-15-1 (H) (7) and (8) respectively.

COMMISSION MAY CONVENE IN OPEN SESSION to take action, if any, on the closed session item.

20.1-20.4 20. Approve Condemnation/Acquisition of a 2-Acre Parcel for a Lift Station Site in Chaparral, New Mexico – Sue Padilla, Assistant County Manager, will discuss.
21.1-21.7 21. Approve Condemnation/Acquisition of a 20-Foot Utility Easement and Additional 10-Foot Construction Easement for Installation of a Gravity Sewer Line in Chaparral, New Mexico – Sue Padilla, Assistant County Manager, will discuss.
